The Diamond Troubadour, Leo Bradley makes beautiful music out of baseball and history. Beginning with the Civil War era, this collection of fifteen songs covers sandlot games, the major leagues, the Negro leagues, and women in baseball.
"I wrote this musical history of baseball for the fans." As Art Hill, author, once said, 'With those who don't give a damn about baseball, I can only sympathize. I do not resent them. I am even willing to concede that many of them are physically clean, good to their mothers, and in favor of world peace. But while the game is going on, I can't think of anything to say to them."

About Leo Bradley
Although he loved music as a boy, Leo's dream was to be a major league baseball player. Although he never made it beyond the sandlots, he continued his love of baseball by coaching at the high school level where his five year record was 70 wins and 18 loses. Leo read everything he could find about baseball.
In recent years, he joined the Society of American Baseball researchers (SABR) and intensified his research into the history of our national pastime. Leo's professional life has been as an educator. He holds a Bachelor's, a Master's, and a Doctoral Degree in Education. He has been a teacher, principal, superintendent, and a professor of Educational Administration and Leadership.
Leo is nationally known. Having written five books on educational leadership, he consults and speaks throughout the country on total quality management, administration, curriculum and staff-development. It takes a Renaissance man to write, produce and perform this history of baseball set to music and narrative. It takes a scholar with knowledge, musical talent and creativity.
Leo was the man for the job. He did it! He did it beautifully. Forgive me, but with this CD project, Leo Bradley had definitely hit a homer!

P.S. In addition to his many accomplishments in the field of education and baseball history, Leo has had several national country chart records. He is a prolific songwriter, an excellent musician, and a fine country vocalist. We know you'll enjoy this fine collection of original baseball songs by Leo Bradley… "The Diamond Troubadour".
