Dear Frances,
As the President of BMI, you have a great opportunity! Wouldn't it be wonderful, at your advanced age, to leave a true legacy - to do something that will make a difference - to start the wheels in motion, so that the little guys (which is about 95% of us) are paid for our hard work, sacrifice, dedication and money, spent on getting our records on the radio.
I hope that possibly... just possibly, you'll give this some serious thought. If so, you will be remembered for helping to implement the greatest change in the history of BMI. And the greater percentage of the membership of BMI will be indebted to you, forever.
Please, Frances, don't miss this wonderful opportunity to do the right thing.
